By downloading or using TechEase ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of Service
TechEase is an AI-powered iPhone help app that provides plain-English answers to iPhone questions. It is designed for seniors and non-technical users. The App uses Google's Gemini AI to generate responses.
Free and Pro Tiers
Free Tier
- 2 questions per day
- Full answer quality
- Access to daily iPhone tips
Pro Tier ($4.99/month)
- 20 questions per day (10× the free tier)
- Auto-renewable monthly subscription via Apple In-App Purchase
- Question history saved for 90 days
Prices are in USD and may vary by region as determined by Apple's pricing tiers.
Subscriptions and Billing
- Billing. Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID via Apple's App Store.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancellation. Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → TechEase.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple. We do not process refunds directly. Contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Free trial. If a free trial is offered, unused portions are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the App or its services
- Use the App to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content
- Misuse the question limit system or attempt to circumvent subscription enforcement
AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- Answers are for general guidance only and are not a substitute for official Apple Support.
- For critical issues (data loss, security concerns, hardware problems), contact Apple Support directly.
- We are not responsible for any actions taken based on AI-generated answers.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, and code in TechEase is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you agree to our data practices as described there.
Availability and Changes
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time.
- We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
- We will update the "Updated" date when Terms change.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- AI answers will always be accurate or complete
- The App will be compatible with all devices or iOS versions
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, device issues, or reliance on AI-generated answers.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
